Young Women

Young Women

A Message to Our Young Women

The Young Women theme begins, “I am a beloved daughter of heavenly parents, with a divine nature and eternal destiny.” You are a beloved daughter. Nothing you do, or do not do, can change that. God loves you because you are His spirit daughter. Sometimes we may not feel His love, but it is always there. God’s love is perfect., Elder Dale G. Renlund. Our 2026 youth theme is drawn from Moses 6:34: “thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.”

Camp FAQs

When is camp?

July 6–10 (Mon–Fri). YCLs should arrive at 12:00 PM to set up. For all other campers, check-in is Monday at 3:00 PM. Check-out for everyone is Friday at 11:00 AM.

Where is camp?
Who needs to register for camp?

All young women and adult leaders planning to attend camp need to register.

When should I register for camp?

The main registration deadline was May 15th, but you can still register using the registration form. Late registrants may not be guaranteed a camp hoodie, but you’re still very welcome to come!

What is the cost of camp, and when is it due?

The cost for all youth is $75, due before attending camp, no later than July 5. Please pay using either a tithing donation slip or the Online Donation system. If using a tithing slip, indicate that it is for “YW Camp” and give it to a member of your bishopric. Checks should be made out to your ward. Cost should never be a barrier, contact your YW President for fundraising opportunities or your Bishop for assistance, if needed.

If I can’t come to camp for the whole week, can I still come?

Yes! Make a note of late arrivals or early departures in your registration so we know when to expect you. Please also check in and out with stake camp leaders anytime you arrive or leave camp.

Which camp year do I sign up for?

YW turning 12 in 2026: 1st Year
YW turning 13: 2nd Year
YW turning 14: 3rd Year
YW turning 15: 4th Year
YW turning 16/17/18: YCL

Who can be a Youth Camp Leader (YCL)?

All young women turning 16, 17, or 18 this year can be YCLs. Contact Chelsea Peck to get involved.

Can I bring snacks to camp?

A large variety of snacks will be available at camp. If your YW needs to bring their own, we ask that they be NUT FREE. We have attendees with life-threatening nut allergies, so we aim to be a nut-free camp. Please check for a nut-free symbol on packaging. Because of curious critters, snacks should not be kept in cabins; please turn them in to adult leaders for safekeeping in the kitchen or in cars.

Will allergies and other special dietary needs be covered at camp?

Yes! We can accommodate common dietary needs (GF, NF, DF, V) if you indicate them on your registration form. Other dietary needs and restrictions outside this scope may need to be covered by foods brought from home.

What if I don’t have some of the camping supplies on the packing list?

If you don’t have access to camping supplies (sleeping pad, camp chair, etc.) and need help obtaining them, please reach out to friends, family, YW leaders, or other ward members.

Will youth be sleeping in tents or cabins?

Cabins, no need to pack a tent! 1st–4th year campers sleep in cabins with their ward, supervised by ward adult YW leaders. YCLs sleep in their own designated cabins, supervised by stake YW leaders.

Can campers bring electronics to camp?

Please leave electronic devices at home (tablets, computers, gaming devices, etc.). This is your chance to fully immerse yourself in the camp experience! Cell phones are fine for taking pictures and reading scriptures, but please limit phone use to those things.

How can I contact my daughter at camp if I need to?

YW leaders from each ward will be there, along with park missionaries and other stake leaders.
