Young Women

Young Women

A Message to Our Young Women

The Young Women theme begins, “I am a beloved daughter of heavenly parents, with a divine nature and eternal destiny.” You are a beloved daughter. Nothing you do, or do not do, can change that. God loves you because you are His spirit daughter. Sometimes we may not feel His love, but it is always there. God’s love is perfect., Elder Dale G. Renlund. Our 2026 youth theme is drawn from Moses 6:34: “thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.”

Stake Camp

Young Women Camp

Each summer, the young women of our stake gather at Cascade Park in Arlington for a few days of faith, friendship, and time in the outdoors. Camp is a chance to grow closer to the Savior, make lasting memories, and feel at home in God’s creations. All young women ages 12–18 are warmly welcome.

Registration opens each spring. Watch for announcements from your ward Young Women leaders, or reach out to them anytime with questions.

Camp Payment

Camp fees can be paid using either a tithing donation slip or the online donation system. If using a tithing slip, please note that it is for “YW Camp” in the “Other” portion and give it to a member of your bishopric. Checks should be made out to your ward.

Cost should never be a barrier. Contact your Young Women President for possible fundraising opportunities, or your Bishop for assistance, if needed.

Camp FAQs

Who can attend, and who needs to register?

All young women ages 12–18 and their adult leaders are welcome. Everyone planning to attend registers each year using the form shared by your ward Young Women leaders.

When is camp?

Camp is held each summer, usually in July, running Monday through Friday. Exact dates are announced each spring.

Where is camp?
What is the cost, and how do I pay?

The camp fee is set each year and is due before camp begins. Please pay using either a tithing donation slip or the online donation system. If using a tithing slip, indicate that it is for “YW Camp” and give it to a member of your bishopric. Checks should be made out to your ward. Cost should never be a barrier, contact your YW President for fundraising opportunities or your Bishop for assistance, if needed.

Will youth sleep in tents or cabins?

Cabins, no need to pack a tent! Campers sleep in cabins with their ward, supervised by ward adult YW leaders. Youth Camp Leaders (YCLs) sleep in their own designated cabins, supervised by stake YW leaders.

Can I bring snacks to camp?

A large variety of snacks is available at camp. If a camper needs to bring her own, we ask that they be NUT FREE, we have attendees with life-threatening nut allergies, so we aim to be a nut-free camp. Because of curious critters, snacks should be turned in to adult leaders for safekeeping rather than kept in cabins.

Will allergies and other dietary needs be covered?

Yes! We can accommodate common dietary needs (GF, NF, DF, V) if you indicate them on your registration form. Needs outside this scope may need to be covered by foods brought from home.

Can campers bring electronics?

Please leave electronic devices at home (tablets, computers, gaming devices, etc.). Cell phones are fine for taking pictures and reading scriptures, but please limit phone use to those things.

How can I contact my daughter at camp if I need to?

YW leaders from each ward are on site, along with park missionaries and stake leaders. You can reach the Cascade Park missionaries at 360-691-5656, or contact your ward Young Women leaders.
