Photo Permission
We ask before we publish a photograph of anyone. This form is how you give that permission, and how you take it back if you change your mind.
Why we ask
Photographs of real people are the warmest thing on our website, and they help visitors see a real community rather than stock images of strangers. But a photograph is personal. Nobody should find their face, or their child’s face, published without having been asked.
Saying no is completely fine and changes nothing about your welcome here.
What you are agreeing to
- We may use photographs that include you (or your child) on our stake website, our stake and ward social media accounts, our newsletter, and printed materials such as flyers and programs.
- We will not sell photographs or give them to advertisers.
- We will never publish a young person’s photograph together with their full name.
- We will not publish personal contact details alongside a photograph.
- You can withdraw permission at any time, for any reason, without explaining. Contact us and we will remove the photo.
Please note: once something has been shared publicly on social media, others may have already copied or saved it. We can remove it from our own accounts and site, but we cannot reach into someone else’s copy.

No internet, or collecting at an event? Download the printable version, have people fill it in by hand, and pass the sheets to the Communications Council.
Changed your mind?
Just tell us. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one. We will take the photo down.
